Hedgehog Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern PDF 4 Teapot Sizes

The hedgehog’s soft, spiky body is knitted using sparkling tinsel chunky yarn, while the shaped face is worked in contrasting beige Aran yarn. Small black eyes and the teapot spout peeking through the knitted snout bring the character to life.

Instructions are included for four useful teapot sizes:

• 1 cup – 340ml
• 2 cup – 500ml
• 4 cup – 900ml
• 6 cup – 1300ml

The tea cosy is knitted flat on straight needles using stocking stitch, simple increases and decreases. The pieces are sewn together, with the option to add a press-stud fastener for easier fitting around the teapot.
