Each bag features a colourful intarsia motif on the front, a plain knitted back and neatly integrated handle openings. Worked flat on straight needles in Aran yarn, the two pieces are sewn together to finish.

You will need

• Approximately 30g of main-colour Aran yarn per bag.

• Oddments of contrasting yarn for your chosen motif.

• One pair of 4.5mm knitting needles.

• A sewing needle.

• A small piece of orange felt for the chick’s beak, if preferred.
