YARN REQUIRED

• 50 g white DK yarn.
• 20 g pink DK yarn.
• 20 g yellow DK yarn.
• 20 g blue DK yarn.
• A small amount of black yarn for embroidered eyes, if using.
• A small amount of pink yarn for the nose, if embroidering.
• A small amount of orange yarn for the chick’s beak.

OTHER MATERIALS REQUIRED

• One pair of 3 mm knitting needles.
• Toy stuffing.
• Darning needle.
• One pair of 7 mm safety eyes for the bunny and one pair of 5 mm safety eyes for the chick, or black yarn for embroidered eyes.
• A 7 mm pink safety nose, or pink yarn for an embroidered nose.

TECHNIQUES USED

Knit and purl stitches, increasing, decreasing, short-row turns for the shaped eggshell, sewing up and simple embroidery.
