Knit a wonderfully festive children’s sweater featuring a cheerful reindeer colourwork panel and traditional cable details.

The upper panel is worked from the included 26-row colour graph, with repeating reindeer faces, bright red noses and decorative borders. Four cable panels run down the lower front, with a matching central cable worked along each sleeve.

A deep ribbed roll neck, ribbed cuffs and matching lower border complete this cosy winter design. The sweater is knitted flat in separate pieces and sewn together.

• To fit chest: 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 inches

Tension:

18 stitches and 24 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 5mm needles.
