DIGITAL PDF KNITTING PATTERN - This listing is for the knitting instructions only. No finished coat or physical item will be posted.

Create a beautifully textured, button-front coat for babies and young children using chunky yarn. The pattern includes three different finishing options: a simple round neckline, a classic collar or a cosy hood.

The gently flared coat features decorative cable panels, knitted bobble details around the lower edge and contrasting moss-stitch sleeves and upper body. All three versions are included in the download, allowing you to create a different look from the same pattern.

The coat is worked flat on straight knitting needles. The back and fronts are knitted together in one piece up to the armholes before being divided. The sleeves are knitted separately and sewn into position.
